“It was a nice trip to the island; we saw a whale on the way (there are also animals on the island itself like a little tortoise/turtle and birds)! Take a coat for the boat if sitting outside as it can get chilly with the wind (November). At the island itself just go to one of the buses and you’ll be given a tour of the island and its facilities first, before going inside the prison. We had two guides, one in the bus and one in the prison. They both had a great knowledge of history, the island itself and made us laugh too. Truly exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed…”

“Kyle was a fantastic guide. He shared lots of interesting information about the local flora and fauna and made sure we took enough breaks to enjoy the scenery and catch our breath. The trail definitely requires a basic level of fitness, but it’s absolutely 100% worth it. We started at 6:30 am and it took us about two hours to reach the top.
