“We were a group of 13 people (all who live in CT) so we decided to get picked up at the waterfront office. We arrived there at 8:30 and the bus arrived at 8:45. The said that the bus leaves sharply at 8:45 but we only left at 8:54. Google Maps said it’s about a 50 minute drive but the bus took a different route and went through Stellies (which ended up being 1h 10min). We packed snacks for the bus to have our own little breakfast which was a huge win. The whole day was so much fun. The bus people never told us what time the bus leaves…”

“A lovely experience. Although, we were late and was left behind by the bus to the winelands because we got stuck in traffic (Cape Town traffic is horendous duting rush hour, no joke got stuck for almost 2 hours, hence was left behind but managed to get an uber to the meeting place). The winelands were all incredible from the wines, gins, views, staff, etc. This was my best wine tasting experience ever and would do it again for sure.”

“Candy and Mabee, our guides, made this a fun and memorable day. Many wines were had and whilst the tram is only a very small part of the day it was cool. The first winery we visited were a little disorganised and didn’t communicate well with the group as to what was happening. Strangely they were also the only winery that made us all (3 groups totalling 10 people) do the same tasting. You can’t expect 10 people to all like and want the same thing. All wineries after this were fantastic and very accommodating. Our groups all bonded well and all up it was a great day. Highly recommend…”

“Great day touring the the vine yards. Basil was our guide, and was very informative on the history of Cape Town and the townships whilst on our way to the vine yards. We stopped at one vine yard in each location, sitting on verandas over looking the vine yards and mountains to look around the barrels etc. we had a good wonder around stellenboch and had a good hour extra in franschhoek for lunch before the wine tram and a glass of something lovely. Great full day out. Would recommend this trip as get a good flavour of the wine regions of South Africa.”
